Margaret Schedel
Stony Brook Music Professor Margaret Schedel and Ecology Professor Heather Lynch are collaborating on a joint study of interdisciplinary research and recently co-authored an op-ed on the subject, Interdisciplinary Research Collaborations Are Hard, for Inside Higher Ed.
To avoid common problems, Schedel and Lynch recommend three questions you should always ask when developing your academic prenup:
- What does success look like?
- How will we communicate and delegate?
- What if one of us has to step away from the project?
Read the Inside Higher Ed op for more details.
