It’s their (not so) little Wall of Fame.
A donor wall honoring those who have given generously to Stony Brook University’s College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) was unveiled during a ceremony in the lobby of the Engineering Building on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.
“The people and companies represented on this wall have touched the future in a very profound way,” said CEAS Dean Yacov Shamash. “They have enabled our college to join in the ranks as one of the top 100 engineering colleges in the United States.”
The donor wall recognizes donors who have given $10,000 or more in lifetime gifts, as well as on those who annually donate $1,000 or more.
CEAS administrators hope the wall inspires others to give to the college.
“It is crucial to the success of this department and to our students to have the support of donors like you,” Shamash said during the ceremony.
