Members from the School of Dental Medicine Class of 1977 gather to celebrate their 40th Reunion
On Thursday and Friday, May 18 and 19, the School of Dental Medicine and its alumni board celebrated the 40th anniversary of its first graduating class by hosting members of the Class of 1977 for their reunion. As part of their reunion, these pioneers escorted the Class of 2017 into their graduation ceremony. Ira Lamster DDS ’77, former Dean of the School of Dental Medicine at Columbia University was the guest speaker at the school’s Convocation Ceremony. During the ceremony, the graduates and their families enjoyed a video created to compare the first graduating class with the class of 2017.
