Miller received a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award. While in Thailand, she hopes to improve her literacy and conversational skills in Thai, as well as connect with the local community. She hopes to volunteer to teach English in centers that help women in need and form a connection through language learning with all her students. Miller previously taught abroad in Korea through the Stony Brook branch of the TaLK program.
