Find out what all the hype is about surrounding the total solar eclipse that will occur on August 21, 2017. To kick off the Fall 2017 Astronomy Open Nights Lecture Series this September, Professor Fred Walter will recap the eclipse, starting with a history of solar eclipses. He will highlight the important scientific discoveries that have come out of them.
