The annual Women’s Health Day is Saturday, October 21, from 8:30 am to 2 pm at the Melville Marriott. Legendary television personality Joan Lunden is this year’s keynote speaker and will discuss, “How to Be the CEO of Your Own Health.”
One of America’s most recognized and trusted television personalities and co-host of “Good Morning America” for almost two decades, Joan Lunden is an award-winning TV journalist, best-selling author, health and wellness motivational speaker, entrepreneur, mother of seven and a breast cancer survivor. Most recently, Lunden was named host of Lifetime Television’s “Health Corner,” which educates women on important issues.
Take advantage of learning from 14 Stony Brook Medicine experts who will share the latest information, research and thinking about topics that concern women most. After each session, Stony Brook experts will be available to answer questions and connect you with helpful resources.
At 12 pm the buffet luncheon begins before Joan Lunden takes the stage at 1 pm. Door prizes will be given out at the conclusion of the event.
The registration fee of $25 includes your choice of three health seminars, continental breakfast and the luncheon with Joan Lunden.
