The Stony Brook University School of Medicine Class of 2017 officially launched its medical training when all 124 incoming students received a physician-in-training white coat and took the Hippocratic Oath at the School’s annual White Coat Ceremony on Aug. 18. During the Ceremony, Dr. Gregory P. Conners ’89 received the 2013 Distinguish Alumnus Award and Dr. Tara L. Houston ’01 received the Outstanding Graduate Award from the School of Medicine.
