During the weekend of June 5-7, 2015, the Class of 1965 celebrated their 50th Reunion and were treated to tours of campus, a visit to the University’s archives with pictures and documents from Oyster Bay, and a special reunion breakfast with the recipients of the First Alumni Scholarship award. The scholarship benefits students who are the first in their families to attend college and was made possible by gifts from the Class of 1965.
The Class of 1965 also attended the Heritage Society Reunion Dinner, where they were inducted into the Brook Heritage Society – a new Stony Brook tradition for alumni who graduated from Stony Brook University 50 years ago or longer.
