The 30-credit MSDA program is a full-time or part-time program that equips graduates with the skills to solve complex problems and drive strategic decisions across all business sectors with applications in marketing, finance, human resources, and supply chain and operations.
“The MS in Decision Analytics (MSDA) program is a perfect solution for students looking to combine their technical background with analytical problem solving and communication skills,” said professor Herbert Lewis, co-director of the MSDA Program. “The ability to extract information and knowledge from an ever-growing amount of data is in high demand.”
Industries where business analytics is particularly in demand include finance and banking, healthcare, retail and e-commerce, marketing and advertising, supply chain and logistics, manufacturing, sports management, consulting, and government and public sector.
Graduate students enrolling in the program will master statistical, optimization and simulation models for data-driven and informed decision-making; gain proficiency in machine learning and other artificial intelligence techniques; become a persuasive communicator, ensuring that data-driven solutions to business problems are clearly understood; and learn to showcase decisions in writing and captivating oral presentations.
