Just in time for Stony Brook’s fifth-annual Giving Day, we’re launching a new social media sharing tool called Stony Brook Social Seawolves. When you sign-up to become a “Social Seawolf,” you can easily share Stony Brook’s social media content and will be enrolled in a sweepstakes to win Stony Brook swag. The more you share, the greater your chances of winning.
Every year, Seawolves come together for Stony Brook University’s Giving Day – the annual 24-hour crowdfunding campaign to support more than 100 areas across campus. On Wednesday, March 29, the Stony Brook community will come together to #HoldDoorsOpen for each other. This year, students, staff, faculty, alumni and friends can use this new tool to help promote the areas they care about most.
“Our Social Seawolves platform is a great way to become involved,” said Brooke Carroll, Assistant Vice President for Constituent Experience at Stony Brook University, “It’s an easy, fun way for people to show their support, not only on Giving Day, but throughout the year. This is a tool we’ll continue to use to help keep our community up-to-date on all of the wonderful things happening here at Stony Brook.”
