Baruch Krauss, MD, is a pediatrician and emergency medicine physician at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He is the author of more than 90 publications and two textbooks, and holds four patents on patient safety monitoring and on nonpharmacological techniques for relieving acute anxiety and pain in children undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the emergency department, as well as diagnostic monitoring of exhaled carbon dioxide (capnography) in adults and children. Dr. Krauss received his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and a master’s degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education. He completed residency training in family medicine at University of Washington-Swedish Hospital, in pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital. He was elected to the American Pediatric Society in 2010.
